Hi guys, The summer issue of MoneySense just came out with an analysis of the top 100 Income Trusts, all listed on TSX. The analysis includes Revenue, Market Cap., Distribution Yield, Earnings Yield, Cash Flow Yield, Distribution Cash Flow, Leverage, Price/Cash Flow, (5 yr. range Price/Cash Flow, Price/Book, Change in Book Value per share, 1 & 3 yr. total Return. From this they ranked them from A, the best to F, failure. They came up with 14 buys: Two were ranked "A"s - Advantage Energy Income Fund (AVN.UN) and Transcanada Power (TPL.UN) The other 12 were ranked "B" and were: Acclaim Energy Trust (AE.UN), APF Energy Trust (AY.UN), ARC Energy Trust (AET.UN), Chemtrade Logistics (CHE.UN), Contrans Income Fund (CSS.UN), Enerplus Resources (ERF.UN), Fort Chicago Energy Partners (FCE.UN), North West Company Fund (NWF.UN), Peak Energy Services Trust (PES.UN), Petrofund Energy Fund (PTF.UN), Shiningbank Energy Fund (SHN.UN) and Viking Energy Royalty Trust (VKR.UN).
By the way, does anyone know about Russel Breweries, about .55 cents on the CNQ exchange. It just had two underwritings at .30 and .37 cents raising a million $. The company is located in Surrey and sells a variety of draft beer to the pubs. Joe

not sure if anything is up (no news released), but CMG jumped $0.63 per share or 10% today to $6.94. Low volume so it is hard to read much into it yet.

Well, Savaria (SIS) walked right through the $1.80 resistance today and closed at $1.89. The bids are filling in behind albeit at little slower than it is moving up, but still surpassing my expectations for this particular rally.
Tough to say what the fair value of this is given that we have not seen the impact of the recent acquisitions in the financial results yet. I am going to hang in and see where this leads.

Just wanted to throw a thanks out to Dundee for the heads up on SIS. Got in on the 15th @1.55. Trading today at 1.80 and looking strong. Thansk Dundee!

Here are a couple of small caps that do pay dividends, but I would probably hesitate to call them "high." Might be worth a look though.
Savaria Corporation (Symbol: SIS)
Savaria is in the mobility products field (personal lifts, residential elevators, etc.) so should benefit from aging demographics just like AUD in the long term. They have a strong balance sheet with lots of cash, decent growth, and are profitable. They also just announced a big acquisition of Concord Elevator.
Computer Modelling Group (Symbol: CMG)
This has already been brought up on the forum here a couple of times I believe.

Just wondering if anyone knows any good high paying dividend stocks or unit trusts that pay good dividends.
I have been watching AIM.UN and VKR.UN, other suggestions would be appreciated.
