Im sure many others are feeling the downdraft in the small-cap and general market over the past few weeks. We have had tremendous gains for the past 15 months so we need to be prepared to take our bruises during down periods. I generally view these periods as significant buying opportunities and I consistently advocate keeping a reasonable cash position to be able to take advantage of a down market. QIS Capital has recently deployed some of its available cash towards new purchases and is looking at liquidating a few positions to be able to take advantage of further opportunities which are now presenting themselves. The market has generally declined across the board and the QIS Capital portfolio is down approximately 5% in the last few weeks. However, a few stocks have been taking a significant downturn such as Quinto Technology (QU), Choice Resources (CZE), Gemcom Software (GCM) and a few others. We have not been able to find an impairment in the fundamental outlook for these companies and thus associate the downturn to market pressure and/or a lack of buyers to support anxious sellers. Many of the QIS Capital Feature Companies have also drifted moderately lower. Again, there are no fundamental reasons for these modest declines at this time. QIS Capital will be issuing an update on all of its companies this evening. Please use this forum to discuss your research, ideas, and stock positions winners and losers. I have seen some excellent discussion forums develop over the past few years and hope that this forum will be a source of quality information among a group of active, sophisticated, and beginner investors. The more we use the forum, the more beneficial it will become. We wish all of our subscribers continued success and look forward to better times ahead. Doren Quinton
