OMI issued results today. Bobwins could you take a look and tell me what you think? Are future mining prospects any clearer?

got as high as 1.43. closed on Friday at 1.39. Not clear how well junior golds will do this year. I am underweight golds this year. If US economy continues to recover then gold may lose some of its lustre. Juniors could get hit much harder than senior producers.

I was late getting in but I bought a few shares at .98 on Monday. I like OMI but would prefer the reserves were at one site. In fact, most are located at their next target. So to continue production, they need to go underground and the transition can be tricky. Looking forward to a go decision on going underground. Not looking forward to the PP that likely to go with it. Projects appear solid. I like the cashflow and the prospects for better production in the second half from higher grade ore.

insider buy by Luis Tondo, director today: Acquired 39,000 Common Shares (Direct Ownership) at a price of $1.000 through the public market on October 21st, 2010 (Holdings Change* of >= 100%) Insider transaction information sourced from SEDI good sign when an insider buys even with the run-up.

Now trading as high as $1.06 today on good volume. Highest volume in almost 2 years.

orosur looks pretty good. Low grade ore with high cash costs. However, cash costs are coming down a bit and exploration results sound pretty good. Cashflow looks like .07, which means about .30 for the forward annualized projection due to higher 2nd half production. Very cheap for a 1 million oz resource play. Typically 10X cashflow for a producing, profitable junior so could have good upside. Bobwins

Nice block trades taking place including one by bmo for 120,000 shares. I find these events to be technically bullish signs.

The stock has moved up nicely since issuing 1st q results. Reminds me of Lamancha which went from 50 cents to 3.00 in 2 years. I am not very good at analysing gold companies so any input from Bobwins or others would be appreciated.
