As always, drilling will soon be grinding to a halt as road bans and muddy drill sites become reality. I live south of Calgary and I can tell you the ground is softer around here than I think I have ever seen. A lot of water still lying in the fields from last years floods, there is one gravel road near me still under water. I saw a school bus up to its axles on a road yesterday. This area has been very busy the last couple of years for drilling. I would not be surprised to see spring breakup extended by a month in this area. Can anyone update other areas - central AB, south/central Sask? If they are like this, it may be some time before we hear many more drilling results. Or if things are dryer elsewhere, maybe some rigs from around here will be freed up for the likes of Rival? (if they can get out of here).
