As long as your buying into companies that are self sustainable( profitable, run off cash flow, not significantly affected by commodity price swings), you have nothing to worry about. All the juniors I buy must be making money and have clean balance sheets or else I don't bother. Don't rely on private placements to save certain companies. This is the correction/cleanse of the TSXV that needs to help rid us of the junky stocks that have been in limbo since 2008.

I have been buying both venture and tsx stocks.  I see real bargains. Today I bought more Formation and Pollard. Fundamentals have not changed. This is a "manufactured" correction so the smart money can buy in cheaply.  By manufactured I mean that I think  outfits like Goldman like to issue  reports of "worrisome" trends etc to shake out the market.  Recovery seems intact. Cheap oil may y hurt the high cost drillers but its great for airlines, consumers and manufacturing. I am betting we will soon hear reports of the benefits of cheap oil to the economy.  That will be the signal tha the big guys finished their shopping spree.

Since September 1st the TSX-Venture has had a total of ... get this ... 4 positive days! (and they were all small gains).  Since September 1, Venture down 21%, TSX down 10%, DOW down 4%.

Buying opportunity?
