Results as of 10:54pm ET, Wednesday, Sep 21: Price: 1.0081 Signal Change: Sell Strength: 27% Trading above 50-day and 200-day MA. 50-day is below 200-day MA but rising and only 8/100 of a penny away from slicing through. RSI: rising. Fast Stochastics: overbought. MACD: bullish. Since last check the USD vs CAD directional bias has reversed again and is now a weak sell. The 50-day MA will probably slice through the 200-day as little as early as tomorrow, a bullish signal. Today was the first time the Canadian dollar closed below par since January. Every technical indicator I use to do my calculation is currently indicating buy USD vs CAD.

Results as of 4:08pm ET, Friday, Sep 16: Price: 0.9794 Direction: Buy Strength: 43% Trading above 50-day and 200-day MA. 50-day is below 200-day MA but rising and only 39/100 of a penny away. RSI:neutral. Fast Stochastics: bearish. MACD: bullish. Since last check the USD vs CAD directional bias has reversed and is now a reasonably strong buy. USDCAD is sitting on the 200-day MA (0.9779). The 50-day MA looks like it may slice through the 200-day in as little as 1-2 weeks, a bullish signal. Looking at the reverse of this trade, CADUSD (1.0210) is just below the 200-day MA (1.0223).
