Usually companies provide the weighted average number of shares outstanding during the quarter and it is this number that is used for the calculation of EPS.

I am not sure exactly what information you are looking for. As at December 31, 2003, the company had 9,533,800 shares issued and outstanding. An additional 80,000 options were exercised subsequent to December 31 so the company would now have 9,613,800 shares outstanding. As at December 31, 2003 there were 1,255,000 (less the 80,000 would result in 1,175,000) options outstanding to purchase shares at prices ranging from $0.12 to $0.30 per share. A full breakdown of these shares are available on page 8 of the financial notes.

I am reviewing the financial statements of WBE. Almost all public companies report more detailed information regarding their share count as it applies to the calculation of basic and diluted EPS. Mr. Quinton, would it be possible for you to obtain these figures?
