Aurora Energy Metals Limited is an Australia-based company focused on uranium exploration and development, with exposure to both the United States and Australian market. Its Aurora Uranium Project (AUP) is located in Malheur County, south-east Oregon, approximately 16 kilometers (km) northwest of the town of McDermitt, Nevada. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Oregon Energy LLC, holds 100% of the Project as well as surrounding mining claims that extend to the west and to the south-east, across the Oregon/Nevada border. The mining claims are located on public lands in Oregon and Nevada and on a contiguous Company-owned block of private land in Nevada. The land tenure comprises approximately 451 unpatented lode mining claims and 71 unpatented placer mining claims in Malheur County, Oregon and 31 unpatented placer mining claims in Humboldt County, Nevada. It has secured an option over a portfolio of uranium exploration tenements in Western Australia.
