Chilwa Minerals Limited is an Australia-based company. The Company is engaged in exploring the Lake Chilwa mineral system in southern Malawi. The Company owns 100% of the mineral sands, rare earths and clays at the Lake Chilwa precinct. Its primary exploration targets are critical mineral deposits, specifically heavy mineral sands (ilmenite and zircon) as well as garnet (silicate mineral group). The area is also prospective for rare earth elements, including niobium. Its Chilwa Project is located around the western, northern and southern shores of Lake Chilwa in Southern Malawi. The project area covers approximately 881.01 square kilometers and includes several deposits. Its deposits include Mposa, Bimbi, Namanja, Halala, and Mpyupyu. Its products include Zircon, Ilmenite, and Garnet.
