Desert Metals Limited is a gold exploration and development company. The Company has the right to earn a majority interest under low-cost joint venture arrangements in three gold projects covering approximately 1,073.95 square kilometers of granted mineral permits and permit applications in Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa. It owns 51% of the Tengrela South project, about 30 kilometers (km) south of the operating Sissingue gold mine and is earning 80% of the highly prospective Adzope gold project in the south of the country. The flagship Tengrela South Gold Project covers 285 square kilometers of ground in far north Cote d’Ivoire, 30 km south and along the strike of Perseus Mining’s Sissingue Gold Complex. Adzope covers 230 square kilometers (granted) in southern Cote d’Ivoire, with extensive and broad alluvial gold mineralization evident across the entire permit area.
