Epiminder Limited is an Australia-based medical device and information solutions company, which is focused on developing diagnostic and treatment tools for epilepsy and other seizure disorders where continuous monitoring is required. The Minder system is a minimally invasive device with equivalent form factors to a cochlear hearing device. The Minder Implant is a device placed under the scalp with several electrodes placed under the scalp, across the back of the head-this enables bilateral monitoring. Minder Wearable receives and stores EEG recordings wirelessly transmitted from the Minder Implant, then transfers this data wirelessly via low-power Bluetooth to the Minder App, running on a smartphone. The Minder App collects and transmits EEG data from the Minder Wearable via Bluetooth and uploads it to Minder Cloud for secure storage and processing. Minder Cloud offers a secure online portal that allows healthcare professionals to access and download patient data for viewing.
