Great Northern Minerals Limited is an Australia-based mining and exploration company. The Company’s projects include Catalyst Ridge Project and Douglas Creek. The Catalyst Ridge Project is located in the Mountain Pass District, a globally significant rare earth element (REE) mining area in California’s Mojave Desert. The Catalyst Ridge Project is made up of four separate claim areas comprising a total of approximately 214 lode mining claims totaling over 18 square kilometers (km2) and is a highly prospective REE and antimony (Sb) opportunity within the Mountain Pass District. Its Iron Butte Project is an advanced gold–silver project located in Nevada’s prolific Battle Mountain-Cortez Mining District. The Project is a well-defined, epithermal system with demonstrated near-surface gold–silver mineralization and potential for high grade mineralization at depth.
