Latrobe Magnesium Ltd

Latrobe Magnesium Limited is an Australia-based company, which is developing a magnesium metal Demonstration Plant in Victoria's Latrobe Valley using its patented extraction process. The Company intends to extract and sell magnesium metal and cementitious material from industrial ash, which is a waste resource from brown coal power generation. The Company's byproducts include supplementary cementitious material (SCM), silica, char, iron oxide and calcium carbonate. It is also developing an International Mega Plant (magnesium metal) in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia via its wholly owned subsidiary company Latrobe Magnesium Sarawak Sdn Bhd.
