The Company is focused on the discovery and development of small-molecule therapies, specifically targeting Transient Receptor Potential Canonical (TRPC) ion channels. The Company’s lead candidate, Xolatryp, is a small molecule cardio protection and neuroprotection therapy. Xolatryp has demonstrated preclinical efficacy as an acute treatment following ischemic stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Xolatryp, is also a novel blocker targeting TRPC 3/6/7 ion channels, developed to mitigate secondary brain injury and prevent further brain cell death. The critical role of TRPC 3/6/7 channels in secondary injury has been validated in animal knockout models and through research-grade blockers. Its medical programs include Myocardial Ischemia and Arrhythmia Control, Stroke, and Traumatic Brain Injury.
